ANOTHER BRITISH WINTER

Heavy snow falls through the night
In the morning all is white.
Children whooping with delight
Try to build a snowman.

Heavy snow falls through the night
Traffic gridlocked; roads are bright
With ice, though gritters try their might
To keep the county flowing.

Heavy snow falls through the night
Old folks eyes declare their fright; but,
Theyll make the bingo hall all right
Despite the bad conditions.

Heavy snow falls through the night
Blackbirds searching from first light
The elements theyll need to fight
To find their food today.

Heavy rain falls through the night
Melts all ice and snow in sight,
Damp returns and cold winds bite.
Another British Winter.
