6-2 First DataDesk activity:  Remember that to select a variable as Y, just click on it.  To select it as X, do Shift-click.  To remove selections, click elsewhere in the window holding the variables.

Notice that this activity shows you how to make side-by-side boxplots and do variable summaries in two ways, depending on how the data are presented.  You should be able to determine which method to use based on data presentation.
