Hi. My name is Philip F. I’m a 15 year old living in Long
Island, N.Y. I’m your average 10th grade
boy. I like video games, science fiction
books, and I think I get way too much homework.
The cover of my journal is covered in Playbill covers from Broadway
shows I’ve gone to see. I did this
because I like to act. I am in the drama
club and I like to participate in all the shows I can. Over the summer, I was in a show called “Good
News”. The show takes place in the 20’s
and is about a college football team’s star player and how he can’t play in the
“big game” because he failed a test. I
played the coach’s assistant, which surprisingly is a good role. I had my own song and everything. Past shows I’ve been in include “How to
Succeed in Business without Really Trying,” “Damn Yankees,” “Starmites,” “Into
the Woods,” and a selection of short plays that my school puts on annually by
David Ives called the “One Acts.” Though
I enjoy acting, I don’t think I will pursue it as a career. I’d much rather try for something in the
field of computer sciences. Well that’s
