Eight Hovers attended the Canteen fundraiser as well as alot of the club members, unfortunately crowd attendance was very low. Probably due to being close to Easter as well as other Events on the same day and a lack of Advertising.
Generally we all had a good day with plenty of time to chat to people and talk about our hovers. I learnt alot about other crafts and the way they are put togeather, even though four of the craft came from the same plan sets they were all individuals which is great.

After a few hours of sitting around and talking Hovers with a few interested people. Colin decided  a game of Hover chasey was in order Tim was quick to agree so the hovers were fired up and given a run on the grass, we were not allowed on the river that was 20ft away. Frank, Ian, Doug and myself soon joined in at least we got some attention even if people were just staring in amazement.
Tims Explorer was as reliable as ever a quick pull start and it was ready to go this fully fibreglass craft is a very good performer with the bag and finger skirt doing a great job.
My family also attended the day and my wife got to have her first ride in a hovercraft, it was fairly slow going on the grass with the craft only able to pull 5000 rpm but when we hit the bitumen the speed really picked up along with the revs. Here I am taking my daughter for a quick spin around the area.
