7) Orlinda       January 2003          5:46             (Instrumental)

In memory of our precious Sister Orlinda Delgado de Ramos. (1943-2003)
While on a mission trip to Mexico in January 2003 Sister Orlinda passed away
and left a large grieving family. Her son is now co-pastor of the same large
group of believers that her late husband had been pastor of until his untimely
death in the '80's. She was the epitome of the "Fifth Gospel." ( A Godly Mother)
We'll see you soon, as you really are, robed in white. 25% of this song is played
with my left hand over the top of the neck, both in chording and in harmonics.

8) A Song to Sing     February 1987      3:15

In late February 1987 I was given this song by the Lord. It is a praise song,
a song praising the Lord for giving me a song to praise the Lord. My parents
came for a visit just then, and I played my new song for them. It was the first
Gospel song I had written with words. My Dad, who was not then a Christian,
Said, "Hey, Philip, that song was INSPIRED!"  Well, I already knew that. The
Lord inspired him to say that, too.  Come on up higher, Mom and Dad.

9) Solemn Incense   February 1987   3:36   (Instrumental)
Fingerpicked on my Fender 12 string guitar

This song was written at about the same time of my baptism in early February
1987. Born with a gift for music, when I sat at the piano at 2 years old and made
sense of the notes it surprised and amused everyone. By age 5 I had a repertoire
of 20 or more simple, distinctly different songs. By age 10, over 100 songs. I
never learned to read notes even to this day, and I have always been a music
teacher's nightmare. I brought to tears everyone who tried to teach me, because
just as quickly as I was taught the correct way, I turned the "correct way" into "my
way." I still can't read notes. Even the piano teacher in England didn't know what
to do with me. When I gave my heart to God, He (All of a sudden!) increased the
gift for piano to a solid one, increased the drumming gift, the bass guitar gift, the
percussion gift, and greatly increased my love for- and gift for- the guitar. He
later gave me a gift for mandolin. Just give me a guitar if I'm feeling rough and a
few minutes later, there will be a smile on my face again. This was my "First
    Message Song."

10) Tip of the Iceberg     August 1988          4:12

In my apartment in Raleigh, North Carolina, I listened to a particular tape.
On it, Bro. Branham stated how he felt rejected, all alone. Everyone had turned
their backs on him because he stood so firmly for the Truth. His understanding
came Mouth to Ear from God. Modern theologian understanding comes straight
through a cesspool of commandments of men, and when you receive Light, the
darkness of theologians makes even less sense. Brother Branham went through
some very tough times, like the loss of his wife and daughter, and the few people
that stuck with him he called "The apple of his eye." It made me sad to hear the
pain of the prophet of God for this day as he told in his own sorrowful way how
he'd been rejected by the very Christians Jesus Christ sent him to. All they saw
was the "Tip of the Iceberg," and they said, "Is that all there is?
