Pictures of the four tunings used in the making of this C.D. :
(with explanations)

1) Standard "E"     Everyone knows that "Even A Dog Gets Beestings Eventually.
E,A,D,G,B,E is the tuning from largest string to smallest.
Most other tunings stem from this one. I play in seven tunings.
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   E
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   B
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   G
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   D

2) Drop "D"         Simply put, drop from the big string "E" to a "D". This will put
you in an octave on the first and third strings. If you play a "D"
chord, you will now have a deep bass note. Cool, huh?
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   E
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   B
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   G
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   D
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   A
!---------!--------!--------!-------!----   D

drop biggest string to "D" from "E"
3) Open "E"         Requires a little work... I personally prefer to drop the whole
tuning to a "D" note while in the Open "E" tuning... because
it's less stress on the neck and (to me) it sounds better.
!---------!--------!--------!-------!--    E
!---------!--------!--------!-------!--    B
!---------!--------!--------!-------!--    G
!---------!--------!--------!-------!--    E
!---------!--------!--------!-------!--    B
!---------!--------!--------!-------!--    E

will form a chord without a hand on the neck.
4) Don't know what to call it..            This tuning is easy. It is almost an open
I can only EXPLAIN IT:                 tuning except for one note, but I had to
(for the song  "FREE")                  leave it there to make the song playable.
Tune your big "E" string up to a "G" and
your small "E" string down to a "D."
!----------!---------!--------!-------!--   D
!----------!---------!--------!-------!--   B
!----------!---------!--------!-------!--   G
