My niece Mary snuck in and took this photo. Just by looking at it I can tell you exactly what I was doing, because I remember what song i was playing... I had just come back from playing over the neck on the seventh fret to pop a harmonic on the same fret... in the song "Orlinda". |

The new home recorded cd "Reflections on the Lake" is now ready for release. It spans a time of 15 years up until 2001, since my conversion in 1986 and includes all original music, with many instrumentals. Recently, I went on a mission trip to Mexico and a dear sister in the Lord passed away. It was a very emotional time for the entire family, as well for the church family. Her name was Orlinda Delgado de Ramos, and her late husband had been pastor of the church until his death. Her son is the co-pastor of the church, now. During the viewing and funeral, I made myself available to the family and the church for support in any way I could. One night, an instrumental song came to me and it was named "Orlinda" for our precious sister. She was a true warrior, and raised many children to the fear and admonition of the Lord. It is the fifth track on the cd. |

There are many people in many countries who have heard my music. On my first trip to Mexico in 1989 I took Sister White's song "The Great White Eagle" to them... they translated it and now it's in every Spanish speaking country. This last trip to Mexico I was asked by one of the greatest guitarists I know of (Bro. Xavier Cantu, also a teacher of the message) to make a tape of some of it and send it to him so he could enjoy it. It was an honor to be asked by him. And there are those in my church that know me and have also asked me to do the same thing. I have a burden to get this music out there. And you never know maybe some unbelievers will have a change of heart and become Christians. I am praying to that end.
March 05 2003 update I now have, a master copy taken from 4 track analog audio to compact disc with which to put through filters and sound and equalization processing. the labels are being made this week, and enough copies to satisfy the immediate need are also being run off this week. Looks like a release date of March 8 2003 is going to be feasible. this cd will be made available after July 2005 remastering on www.cdbaby.com/plkraus |

A little about me: I am a high school graduate, held many different jobs before falling into the line of work I do now, am the former Founder/President/C.E.O. of a service corporation I built from the ground up, worked in law enforcement for a while... and am an accomplished martial artist. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, running, reading, writing, helping with charities, mission work in the U.S. and other countries, and playing music for the enjoyment of other people and am a semi-professional photographer. Currently I am in the middle of writing ten seperate books, two of which are only months from completion. I am single, having never been married, and within the last year I made up my mind I do not want to get married, I only want to live alone and enjoy God's beautiful earth and write about it, sing about it, and take pictures of it, and to write and sing about the other side we are going to. I know that in the millenium I will have as my friend the woman who was supposed to be my wife here. So, sweetheart, if you read this, please forgive me for giving up in my search for you... see you on the other side... |

I am sorry to announce our precious Sister in Christ "Sarita" died in the hospital in Saltillo, Mexico in April 2004, she was 93. she gave me a $5,000 peso note in 1994 ($1.75 U.S.) when I visited for a few weeks after playing guitar at the church. I put it in my Bible the page about the widow's mite... and it is still there. When I visited in 2003 for a month she made me a welcome present... some corn meal tamales with pine nuts in them. they were so sweet! so was she. We all will miss her. See you in Glory, Sister Sarita. |

i have some exciting news, i am about to go to europe to play in a lot of countries, and will visit family. the trip is taking place between November 2004 and December 2004. soon after i return there will be made available a music cd and a dvd, in a set. the dvd will made available in PAL and NTSC format, for use in your country. all you need to do is let me know what format is used in your country. thanks for all your support, everyone. |
