| DE Trent Cole appeared to be the only Eagles defensive lineman who came to play today. Cole registered a timely sack and continues to produce for the Eagles. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Filling in for Michael Lewis, SS Sean Considine has done an admirable job. Considine has done a good job following the ball and making plays when he needs to. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Duds | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Talk about getting into a funk. QB Donovan McNabb looked awful today. Not everything was his fault, but a lot of it was. Donovan was underthrowing or overthrowing people all day and managed an offense that only registered 2 FGs. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Enough is enough. What in the world was RB Brian Westbrook doing out there? When he wasn't dropping passes at crucial moments of the game, Westbrook was not able to get anything going on the ground or on the screen. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| It has been 8 games so far and rookie DT Broderick Bunkley has yet to do much of anything. Despite not playing much, Bunkley hasn't come close to making plays or getting a sack. The Eagles have to figure out what is wrong with this picture. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| McNabb had a tough day today, but the play of LT William Thomas didn't help much either. Thomas fell asleep on several blocking assignments allowing McNabb to be sacked and/or hurried. The Eagles might want to give his back up Winston Justice a look soon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Honorable Mention | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Studs | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Its about time the Eagles saw some production out of Dhani Jones. Jones was in on a few tackles and the Eagles woes with stopping the run had little to do with the play of #55 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| You can't blame K David Akers for how things went in Week 8. Akers did everything he was asked. He delivered 2 FGs and had a decent onsides kick toward the end. Akers is a great guy to have on this Eagles team. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| If you're FS Brian Dawkins you have to be frustrated. B-Dawk has consistently made plays and saved the butt of his teammates time and time again. He has been consistent every week thus far. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Duds | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| "Holding, #69...offense" was heard all too common in Week 8. RT John Runyan is usually very reliable but not today. Runyan got caught a few times and didn't know what to do. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| If there was anyone who could accept a lot of blame for the run defense, it is LB Matt McCoy. However, McCoy was not the only one missing coverage and getting stuffed at the line. McCoy is simply a scapegoat for what was a pitiful display of defense. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Eagle Report has had a love affair with WR Reggie Brown in recent weeks but not today. Brown was not getting open very often and when he did, his dropping of passes was all too common. Brown has got to step it up big time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
