-Following the 17-0 shut out by the Buccaneers on opening day of 2003, the Eagles were the first team to make the conference championship after being shut out in their first game.
-The Eagles tied a record in 2003 by having only 5 TD catches from WRs all year. The record would be broken in 2004 when the Giants only had 2.
-The infamous "For what...for who?" comment uttered by former Eagles RB Ricky Watters in 1995 after failing to make a catch across the middle was made following the Buccaneers victory at Veterans Stadium.
-Before becoming the headcoach of the Oakland Raiders, and eventually the Buccaneers, John Gruden served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Eagles under Ray Rhodes from 1997-1998.
-Hold an NFL record with 12 straight seasons of 10 or more losses
-The Buccaneers won the last game played at former Eagles stadium Veterans Stadium and the first game at the new stadium, the Linc. Both games were won by 17 points.
