The links below will get you to the list of pipe organs which are categorized according to the time they were built.  They are grouped in this manner because each time frame represents a different construction style.

17th to 19th century

Organs built in this period were of typical Spanish Baroque style except for the ones built during the last part of the 19th century which are Neo Gothic in style.  But all of them are constructed in the reliable Mechanical Action, also known as the Tracker Action.  It is a great possibility that Filipinos took a great part in building this instrument along with Spanish or Mexican Organbuilders.

        1900 to 1980s

The advent of electricity gave new possibilities to every thing man can think of and that includes the Pipe Organ.  The Electric Action, the Pneumatic Action and the combined Electro-pneumatic Action have become standards in building pipe organs during this time.  After the Second World War, a lot of instruments were brought from Germany and assembled here in the country by Father Schablitzky and Mr. Jose Loinaz.  More recent organs were assembled by the Jacela brothers, Mariano Marcelo

1980s to present

The restoration of the Bamboo Organ of Las Piñas in 1974 came at the time where  a tradition of building pipe organs that was long forgotten is being revived.  This was at the time the Tracker Action system  are again gaining popularity against the Electro-pneumatic Action in Europe.  Higher standards of construction were required.  Old historical organs became the patterns of building pipe organs.  It was also proven that the tracker action is more reliable and ideal for pipe organs.

Here in the Philippines, the idea of having someone in Las Piñas to take care of the Bamboo Organ for future repairs led to the establishment of an organ building company which is now the Diego Cera Organbuilders, Inc.
