The restoration of the Bamboo Organ of Las Piñas by Johannes Klais Orgelbau of Bonn, Germany started the revival of Pipe Organ awareness.

The yearly week-long concerts of the Bamboo Organ Festival made it possible for quality Organ Music to be heard and experienced in this part of the world.

Twenty years after the first concert of the Bamboo Organ, through the efforts of the Belgian CICM priests, Fr. Leo Renier and Fr. Mark Lessage with help from their European friends particularly Dr. Johann Trummer of Graz, Austria, Filipino Organists and Organbuilders came back from their studies in Europe to continue the revival process of Pipe Organ Music and Organbuilding here in the Philippines.

In 1994, the Diego Cera Organbuilders, Inc. was established making it possible for new tracker pipe organs to be built locally and old organs to be restored.  They have started to export their instrument to Europe last year.
