The Palace of Mezanderan
Welcome to the Palace
of Mezanderan. Take a good look around: this is what Erik worked for, the
one architectural feat truly made of his own vision and genius. (I assume
that you are here because you know of Erik) We who still occupy this great
palace have dedicated it entirely to this extraordinary man. I am Clara,
the last heir to what once was the Persian dynasty. My father, the great-great
grandson of the woman you all know as the khanum, married my mother, a Parisian.
Until I inherited this palace upon my father’s death, I lived with my mother
in Paris, where I learned about the mysterious Phantom of the Opera. After
I moved here I unearthed the truth about who this ghost really was from old
Persian documents. Ever since then, we have used the palace in this manner.
So, go ahead, enjoy the palace, but beware of two things: hidden trap doors
and the ghosts of those whom Erik killed. Ah yes, the khanum also haunts
this palace, but she will not bother you if you pleasure her vanity and sign
the guest book! Enjoy!
Great Hall Where
we keep the Great Family portraits, as well as many of Erik himself.
