To put on a musical production, such as this, is a team effort. The school would like to take this opportunity to thank a number of people who without their support, this play would never have eventuated.
First of all to the children in the play, who all did a fantastic job and we are very proud of every single one of you. Thank you for taking on the challenge quite clearly you are all magnificent performers. Thank you to the parents of these budding actors, you are to be commended for listening to those hours of rehearsals and for assisting with costume making.
Thank you to all the staff at Katherine South Primary School as each and every one has supported the production. In particular Miss Vanessa who inspired the performers and assisted them to reach their dream. A number of parents have assisted in the canteen tonight, under the fabulus organisational skills of Kate Bell, a big thank you to all of you.
There are a number of important individuals who volunteered their time and effort so that this show would be the success that it is. Jacqui Hutton, Jacqui Ascoli, Stephen Sheppard, Di Bruce, Pru Ducey, Sarah McBean, Narelle Le Poidevin and Jane Picton, the school thanks you for giving your time and expertise to the production.
And finally thank you to Mr John Shand, wherever you may be, for a wonderful script. The students of Katherine South Primary School really enjoyed performing your play. |
