Mike Catangui in the 70's as a high school student and as a professor in SDSU
Thank you for the e-mail.
Hearing from all of you takes me back
to the good old days. Makes me want
to wear those gray and white uniforms
again that we used to wear to school.
Where are our teachers now? Ms. Tuazon?
How does the old high school look like?
Maybe Gilbert could e-mail us a digital
picture of PGCHS as it looks today.
I was last in the Philippines in 1993
for my sister Vina's wedding. She also
had migrated to New Jersey.
Ando and Rani, thank you for inviting me
to visit. We were last in LA in 1995.
We have been meaning to visit but our
relatives keep on coming here in Soth
Dakota during the winter.
My father and LA relatives were here last
winter "to experience real snow" according
to them. My father and kids played a lot
in our backyard snow.
Kindly visit us here anytime. For Mt. Rushmore
in the spring, summer, or autumn. And nice and
pluffy snow in the winter.
Today is a nice sunny autumn day here with
temperatures in the 40's (degrees Fahrenheight).
The leaves of our trees have been turning yellow,
red, and orange. I still have to mow the lawn this
afternoon since the grass is still green.
No snow yet. I usually change my tires in my
Subaru into winter tires in December.
Any word on those wild young lovers from
San Juan Street, Polangui, Albay?
Sincerely,
Mike Catangui
