Pic's: Aerial R/C Photography

Here's my first attempt at aerial photography. I used a Fuji one time disposable camera, stuck a servo with a regular servo arm on top of the shutter with double sided tape and rubber bands. The camera was also held with rubber bands to the side of my SPAD plane, justahead of the wing as it can be seen from the picture, and the servo plugged into slot 4.

It's a manual advance camera, which meant I had to land after taking each picture. I turned on the flash on the camera each time, only to get a positive indication that a picture had been snapped. I also turned off the motor while snapping the pictures, hoping to minimize vibration to get sharper pictures.

I'm pretty happy of the results as a first attempt, which was pretty low cost. The pictures taken at a distance with the horizon seemed sharper than the fly by one, but it could have been just the lighting.
