Responsible and Ethical Computer Use

The Atterbury Foundation is dedicated to providing educational materials that promote responsible and ethical computer use. These materials encourage youth to respect the rights and property (both intellectual and personal) of others

Creating an Awareness of Computer Security

The Atterbury Foundation introduces the idea of computer security to school-age youth. It is very important that youth understand the need to safeguard information and prevent infection of systems with computer viruses.

October is Computer Learning Month

Once again the Atterbury Foundation teams up with the Computer Learning Foundation to bring Computer Learning Month to as many schools and community groups as possible. This is an excellent time for educators and community group leaders to focus on Computer Learning.

During Computer Learning Month, the CLF conducts nationwide contests to help promote computer awareness. In this age of increasing computer use, it is more important than ever that children understand proper use of computers. This includes care and handling of computers, netiquette, safety, virus protection, and much more.
