Postcards

Hi, dear!

As you know I’m in London for a meeting.

London is a wonderful city. I love it!

I went shopping and bought many things  at a huge magazine named Harrod’s.

Later we went to the theater to see the famous play called “The Mousetrap” of Agatha Christie. I loved it!

  Well, that’s all for now.

 Yours,

  Peter.

Dear Mum!

I'm in Kioto! Fantastic! The Nijo Castle(1603) is superb and the Budhist temples are beautiful. (There are more than 1.600 here.)

Japanese food is very tasty. Sushi is delicious! And the Japanese people are very friendly. The teens all speak English!

Well, I have to stop now. I'm going shopping. I need new socks. (The Japanese remove their shoes all the time.)

I'm having great fun! The weather is perfect!

Lots of love,

Jane.*

Dear Jane*,

We're having a terrible time here.

Starry Beach is not a paradise!

The beach is dirty. It rains every day!

The hotel we're at is huge and full of noisy teens. The food is desgusting

Everything here is a disaster and we're coming soon.

See you on Saturday.

Kisses and hugs!

Love,

Mummy and Daddy.

Singapore has changed a lot
since you lived here, but I saw
this card and I thought of that
 driver you always talk about.
Food at the Strait's Cafe was
wonderful. But the place has
been completely remodeled,
and prices are higher than you
remember .
Thankfully, I had the American
Express Card you gave me.Ha!
