| (08 May 2002) I have been meaning to update my homepage for a while now but yahoo has been playing up, because everytime i attend to sign in it turns me down. So this is the first time in a few months when i have been able to access it. So i guess i better give an update of what you have missed out on...... First ~ 7 March 2002 My 19th birthday. Had a beautiful evening out with my family and Shane (well shane is family now)....anyway, we went out for dinner then went down for a walk alone the beach and watched the sun set, it was really gorgeous. ...... 11 October 2002 Wow, its been a long time since i've been here, lol. I havent done any work on my homepage for 6months now. I thought i should write a few things to update my journal and also before geocities gets the chance to deactivate it. Well where should i start with an update?? ...... um.....let me think! First off, i got a part time job 5months ago at a cafe in town, i love working there alot, but i just recently found out that my boss has been ripping me off by not paying what im intitled to as an adult, she has been doing this ever since i started working there in May. I feel like im not precenated for my hard work, specially now because i know what my boss has been doing. although i am very thankful for her for employing me, the experience is so unbelievable, i enjoy dealing with people, i have learnt so many skills and gained a knowellege that i can use in the further, (I wish to run my owe Cafe - well more like a coffee shop, with internet access, etc and of course the best coffee in the world!! lol). I could take her to court because what she is doing is illegal, but i think im going to just put it down as experience but im still going to ask for a pay raise! the reason why i havent been updating my homepage is because i have moved out of my parents house sortly after i got the job at the cafe. im living a couple of blocks away in a little flat with Shane. We love living together in our own place, although we both miss our families like crazy, but we usually go home in the weekends so thats awesome. I often think about moving back home but then i think the experience of being independent is cool. |
