Contra-indications
Treatment cannot be given if any of the following conditions are present:
Skin diseases or disorders
Cuts and abrasions
Recent or extensive bruising
Recent haemorrhage
Recent scar tissue
Recent operations
Large, lumpy or inflamed moles
Warts or skin tags
Bone fractures
Swollen, hot or painful joints
Recent muscle strains/sprains
Any swellings, painful or inflamed areas
Heart conditions
High or low blood pressure
Thrombosis or history of embolism
Phlebitis
Varicose veins
Diabetes
Cancer
Epilepsy
Weakness in muscle with poor muscle tone
Spastic muscles
Dysfunction of the nervous system
Sunburn or windburn
