The Class of 1999 and I first met when they were in 7th grade, for Reading and English.
From pretty early on, I realized that this class was different from the others. There was something about them, something more mature perhaps, that set them apart from the other groups at the time. I soon began looking forward to our classes together, and was glad to have them again for Reading in 8th grade.
This was the first class that got the "enhanced" DragonLance unit, with the character assignments and mini-quests. We really had fun with that!
It was truly sad to see them leave, and they were the last class to have an issue of the St. Therese Profile dedicated to them. In fact, they were the last class to see the St. Therese Profile, period.
