Peter Blair
I have a varied and somewhat unusual background - at least for a consultant. My formative years in business were in running hotels. I began my management career with Stakis hotels and worked in many of their establishments throughout Scotland. Hotel management is, I believe, one of the best ways of learning about "deadline-based operational management" - while dealing with people who are often at their worst.

I returned to university in 1996, first getting a first-class BSc in Information Systems & Management at Birkbeck College, University of London, before taking my MBA at London Business School.

Both at the Business School and since, I have worked with a number of different clients, recently specialising in small and start-up charities. Having working with one particular charity in Newbury, I was recently invited to join the Board of Trustees  of "The Living Rainforest".

I have wide experience of solving operational problems (although I believe we call them "issues" nowadays), identifying strategy, and organisational communications. I'd be happy to discuss your organisation informally to see if there is an area in which I'd be able to help.
