Prevention:
To help prevent your pet (dog in particular) from getting lost and to make it easier to find them:
make sure you keep your pet in a locked fenced yard
register you dog at the Toowoomba City
Council, and have the tags attached your dogs collar
have your pet microchiped
If your pet is missing:
Search your own yard carefully, your pet may be hiding, injured or scared
Ask your neighbours and search your neighbourhood calling for your pet
