1) Divide your list of Visiting Teachers into quarters, depending on how many counselors and secretaries plus the VT coordinator that you want to use as interviewers. Four is ideal.
2) Divide the year into quarters.
3) Assign each leader a quarter of the Visiting teachers to interview.
4) The next quarter give each leader a different quarter to interview. This way, at least once per year the President will be interviewing her VTs.
5) In large Wards, there are probably more counselors and secretaries to help and the list could be divided into eighths, having two people interview during a particular quarter. This takes a little more effort to coordinate so that the President talks to each at some point during the year.
