We decided to do something different than our usual visiting teaching "workshop" this year. All the sisters attended--the Priesthood substituted in Primary and YW. It was so wonderful to have ALL the sisters attend this program-- especially those who don't always get to come to Homemaking.

The program is "Hands of Heaven on Earth".

Welcome:   Relief Society President

Invocation:

Introduction:  Relief Society Pres.

Speaker: Bishop (why Visiting Teaching is so important)

Musical Number "Hands of Heaven on Earth"  (Sung by a duet, quartet or however many you want)  (Music is from Embryo Music/Musical Numbers for Vocal Performance Vol II)

Speaker:   (Three sisters who share special experiences they have had as a VT or Speaker:     being served or helped by their Visiting Teachers)  Speaker:

Music and Slides "His Hands"  (Music is from the CD "Greater Than Us All" by Kenneth Cope) There were about 20 slides of pictures of Christ's life that go along with the phrases in the song)

Closing Prayer:

After the prayer we handed out little wooden hands that had printed on one side "His Hands" and on the other "Our hands" and a small copy of each sister's visiting route was tied with satin ribbon attached to the hand.

Inside the printed program we put a verse from the song "His Hands" by Kenneth Cope

"His hands would serve his whole life through,

Each day was filled with selflessness and

This was a wonderful and spiritually uplifting program and the music is "heavenly"!!
