Here is what the new handbook says about RS Presidency meeting: P. 200

1. The ward RS Pres. and sec. meet regularly, usually weekly if possible.

2. Pres. may invite other RS leaders to attend as needed.

3. Presidency assesses needs and concerns of sisters in the ward.  Evaluate progress in accomplishing purpose and objectives of RS.  Make plans and set goals for improvement.

4. Review scriptures and instruction from church leaders that pertain to assignments.  Review instruction in this section and "Gospel teaching" section.

5. Plan ward RS meetings, enrichment activities and special events.

6. Review gospel instruction in TS and plan how to make it more effective.  Includes plan how to support teachers and participate in teacher improvements meets.

7. Review member progress reports and make plan for helping new members and less active sister to participate

8. Review RS budget and expenditures.

9. Discuss needs for sister to be called as RS leaders and teachers and prepare recommendations for bishopric.
