General information about
Huancayo
Huancayo, a modern city, is the main commercial center in the Mantaro valley, which lies between the western and eastern Andean ranges at 3,273 meters sea level.
Its is situated 320 km. to the east of Lima and is an excellent point of departure for Ayacucho, Cuzco, and Huancavelica, Pisco or La Merced, Oxapampa and Satipo, the great upper Amazon basin.
Around the Mantaro Valley there are archaeological settlements, beautiful and dramatic landscapes, not to mention the hundreds of villages with their people, crafts, popular markets and flourishing culture.
Huancayo boasts one of Peru largest and most diverse market each Sunday where the local villages come to sell their wares and crafts.
Summer is very dry & the temperature varies between 0 C degrees during the nights to 24 C degrees at midday. Summer goes from early May to October.
Winter time goes from November to April and the temperature is more moderate: 10 C at nights and 18 C during the days. Rain Pours but we have still sunny times after the rain.
Cost of life is cheap in all the region. Craft villages and popular markets are easy accessible by public transport but of course you can bike or hike around the valley with out problems. The Mantaro valley is safe and hospitable.

Our payment fee includes: tuition fee, accommodation, three meals a day, guided excursions, alternative activities, materials, and stationary supplied.

Lessons can start , actually the next day of your arriving but we recommend to take at least one day
in order to get acclimatized to
altittude.
STANDARD SPANISH COURSES
a) STANDARD SPANISH COURSES: Basic, intermediate and advanced level. No previous Spanish knowledge is necessary for the basic level. Courses are 1 to 4 weeks of duration. Standard courses apply to persons who wants to develop a practical and effective communication with a basic vocabulary. Besides Spanish lessons and field trips we include a wide variety of cultural and social activities in order to enrich students� experience.
Lima Pick Up
We also offer options for a Lima pick-up for convenience of our students that have to stay the night in Lima before taking their connecting bus to Huancayo. The package cost US $ 50 and includes:
Transfer from airport to Hotel
A stay in a hotel overnight including breakfast
Bus ticket to Huancayo
Transfers to the Bus Station when departing from Lima and from the
Bus Station at your arriving to Huancayo.
