Metronome
Both the ceremony and the reception will take place in Manhattan at the swank
jazz nightclub Metronome, which is located at 915 Broadway, on the corner
of 21st St. (212.505.7400). It's in the fabulous Flatiron
District.
By Subway: The closest
station is the 23rd Street N/R. Exit station at Broadway and walk south to
21st Street. Metronome is on the corner of 21st and Broadway— you can’t
miss it.
By Automobile: The parking garage closest to Metronome is Unique
Parking at 47 East 21st St, between Park Ave.. and Broadway (212.674.9528).
You can park on the street but make sure you read the signs for antiquated
parking rules.

The
Gershwin Hotel
Many guests will be staying at The Gershwin Hotel at 7 East 27th St., between
5th and Madison Aves. (212.545.8000). It is an inexpensive, modern hotel and
very close to Metronome. If you wish to reserve a room at a reduced rate,
mention the code GR-PERRY. The closest parking garage is Central Parking at
839 6th Ave., between 29th/30th Sts. (212.695.3896). Gershwin guests get a
reduced rate, but you need to get a sticker from the hotel when you check
in. Put the sticker on the back of your parking ticket in order to get the
discount when you leave the garage.
To get to Metronome from the Gershwin, you need to walk over 11/2 blocks to
Broadway and make a left. Walk downtown on Broadway to 21st St. and there
you are!
After-Party at Nell’s
by Subway
The after-party will take place at Nell’s, which is at 246 West 14th
St., between 7th and 8th Aves. (212.675.1567). From the Gershwin or Metronome,
take the downtown N/R train at 23 Street and get off at the 14th St./Union
Square station. Walk west on 14th St.
New
York City by Car
Coming from New Jersey: Take NJ Turnpike to Lincoln Tunnel.
Once you get into Manhattan, go southbound on either 9th or 11th Ave. If you’re
driving to Metronome, get off on 23rd St. and make a left. Take 23rd St. east
to Park Ave. and make a right. Drive down to 21st St. for the Unique Parking
Garage. If you’re driving to the Gershwin, turn left off of 9th or 11th
Ave. onto 30th St. and take it to 6th Ave. Make a left on 6th Ave. for the
Central Parking Garage.
Coming from upstate New York: Take NYS thruway South/ I-87 toward
New York. Continue on I-87 South after paying toll at Exit 15. Take Palisades
Parkway South (Exit 13S) toward New Jersey. Stay on Palisades for approximately
18 miles and watch for signs for exit for George Washington Bridge. Take George
Washington Bridge (I-95 N / US-9 N). Stay in right lane on bridge. At the
end of GW Bridge, merge right onto Rt-9A / Henry Hudson Parkway. Follow signs
for Henry Hudson Parkway South (that lane is the middle of three lanes). Take
Route 9A to Henry Hudson Highway, which turns into Westside Highway in NYC.
Take this southbound and exit at either 34th St.
or 23rd St.
Coming from PA: Take I-80 To NJ Turnpike and then follow the
above directions from NJ.

New York City Train or Bus
Metronorth (800-METRO-INFO)
will arrive at Grand Central Station. From there, take the shuttle or 7 train
over to Time Square and take the the downtown N/R Train. Amtrak
(1-800-USA-RAIL) will arrive at Penn Station. Exit the station and walk east
on 34 St. to 6th Ave. to catch the downtown N/R train. If you’re taking
Greyhound (800.229.9424), it will
arrive at Port Authority/Times Square. Follow signs to the subway and take
the downtown N/R train.
