A photograph of Fanny PERRIGO, 1932, daughter
of William PERRIGO and Susanna LERREY of Tenbury Wells,
Worcestershire. Fanny was born in 1859 and migrated to Kent with
her sister Mary Ann, as Domestics. She married Harry KNELLER
in 1882 at St. Pauls Parish, Chatham, Kent. This photograph
adorned my grandfather's workbench for all his life, hence the
thumbtack mark just above her head. As a child I
would remark on the resemblance of him to her features. When my
Grandad died in 1979, the photo was removed. On the back was
the the phrase " Mother 1932" .
I never knew who it was until then.
