Chapter 1: The Train
The darkness loomed above them as they boarded the train for the long trip to Hogwarts. It was as if she had never done this before, and it all seemed so strange to her now. Arabell thought of her sisters death and remembered the screams that she had heard so recently before. Ameilla had been so young, and she had her whole life ahead of her.  That bastard Persitue, she thought to herself, He did this to her. He killed my sister. He tried to kill his daughter, and he would have killed me. Thank the lord Raylore showed up. How could he do such a thing? How could he turn on his own family like that? She turned her thoughts to the people on the train with her. They all seemed so normal, so patient, so unknowing to the horrors that had killed her sister. Arabell became sour at the idea that all of their lives still could be lived, that they were still alive, but her sister wasnt. Ameilla was gone forever, and she couldnt stand the thought of it.  Sweet, innocent baby. She thought as she turned to the 3 year old sitting next to her. Im so sorry about this Maralete, but you must never know about what has truly happened this night.  Your mother was not killed by your father. It was the death eaters. They killed both your parents, and your father was a simple  muggle. Everything is fine. Dont cry dear, everything is fine. Arabell pulled the child closer to her and looked out the window. Soon they would be in the protection of Hogwarts, where nothing could get to this child. Where they would be safe.
