On the Road to Perdition... Back to Glory, ...Page 12 | |||||||||||||
| On the train I was full of fear, not knowing what or how my Father would react. So I PRAYED, I prayed that if there really were a God, that God would allow my Parents' front light to be on as it was getting late. They work from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. and I wanted to give Mum her card, tell her that I loved her, and go away and kill this guy and die. To my surprise, the train did not stop at Bald Hills, it went on to the next stop at Zillmere. I could not believe the it had not stopped. I had to go over the overbridge to get the next train back to get there in time before they went to bed. I finally got the next train to Bald Hills and I walked the 1 km to the house. All the time I kept praying that I wouldn't let my Father hear me for fear of his retribution and his poor health. |
