Sydney's journey began one day while he was napping in the garage. As I looked over at him, I noticed a lump in his abdomen. I began to check him all over and suddenly noticed a lump on his right front "wrist". Having gone through cancer with Shayla, I began to panic and made a trip to the vet right away. The vet felt the lump on his abdomen was just a harmless fatty lipoma, but due to where it was located at, decided to do surgery to remove it. While there, I had the vet take a look at the lump that had developed out of nowhere on Syd's right wrist. He said that we would need to keep an eye on it, that it might be a sprain or something. Since Syd was not exhibiting any limping or signs of pain, I agreed to keep an eye on it. Syd normally is one who hands you either paw to be rubbed whenever you sit down, so to have this lump pop up suddenly was a shock. I would have noticed it before. And Syd was not limping or showing any sign of pain.
