-Ernest Joseph King.

1878-1956. Promoted to the rank of admiral in 1941 he is the chief of the naval operations (CINCUS) in 1942 where he is succeeding to vice-admiral Stark while staying commanding chief of the american marine. He is so the first officer to have two jobs: he has to see that the operations works and are coordinated, see to the supplies, to the repairs and to the renewing and replacement of the fleets' ships. He wants to keeps the american navy far from the European war and not too close to MacArthur in the South-West Pacific (MacArthur always wants more ships to help him…). In 1944 King is promoted to the rank of fleet admiral (5 stars). He leaves the navy in 1946.
