-March 27, the Japaneses progress south and enter Nanchang. They also try to conquier Changsha, where Jiang Jieshi 's government is installed along with 5 divisions. After one month of fights, the siege of Changsha is stopped and the Japaneses retreat.
-To continue in their project of cutting the supply lines of China, the japanese soldiers continue to take harbors: Shantou and Wenzhou and also Hainan island (south of China).
-The Japaneses push their landing on Hainan island and attain Nanning in November.
