Howdy folks, have I got a more deals for you then you can shake a stick
at... sure I have a car just like all that one at home myself, sure it
has low mileage, sure the insurance is cheap INSURANCE
LINK sure there's no rust and she runs like a champ!
For as little as $99.95, you to can be in one of these beauties...
Have you heard this before, well most folks selling there personal POV
are looking for more then $99.95 as you can see by the prices below.
I can easily remember when a good car would cost me $300 and I could sell
it a year later for $300. Those days are long gone so if you remember
when, check out some examples of how much a car will basically cost you
these days if you buy it from one of the many used car lots in town.
All the cars listed below are located at one of the many used car lots
that cater to the U.S. Military. The prices are the actual prices
posted on the car windows for sale. Might suggest you do a little
bargining with the dealer, since you can usually get a $300 to $700 dollar
discount if you pay cash for the car.
Most dealers give you 3 to 12 months to pay the car off in equal installments
with not interest involved. Each dealer has there own set of rules,
but most are pretty much the same.
If the car requires a new 2 Year JCI, it may take 3-5 days get actually
pick up the car so be aware of that. All the title and registration
transfers can easily be done by the dealer and very small fee of at no
cost to the buyer. Recommend you take that option if you're not familiar
with how to register a vehicle on Okinawa. Check out the Insurance
Link above for more information on registration procedures.
There is some good advice about buying a car here THE
SURVIVAL SECTION, don't buy the first vehicle you see!
Remember, you're used to cars costing $8000 to $20,000 so $1000 to $5000
may not sound like much until you see the same car you just bought for
$4000, is selling for $2500 and has less mileage and a longer JCI remaining.
Believe me, there are plenty of good cars out there, so don't be in such
a rush to buy.
All the cars and vans depicted on this page are to be used for examples
only. I will not entertain any questions about the vehicles
so please don't send me any inquries. I don't know who is selling
them or what there phone numbers are. If your on Okinawa and your
interested in any of the vehicles listed below, I took the photos
on 24 February 1998 and you can find the vehicle at the Kadena or Camp
Foster Lemon Lot. |
