| If you look closely at the monument to the left you may notice that the writing at the base it's German, it's not, the Nazi's actually took an historic Buddist symbol for hope, peace and long life. The difference is in the way the ends point. The Nazi symbol points the opposite direction. It was news to me as well. Pretty interesting stuff! |
