Hourly Care: Hourly reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance by phoning the respective Center on Okinawa. (PHONE DIRECTORY) Additionally, you may phone or drop in to check on availability at the time service is needed.  Drop-in, hourly care, may not always be available during peak periods of operation.  Advance reservations may ensure a space for your child.  Ten percent of all child care space is reserved for hourly care.

Extended Care: Extended hours may be scheduled thirty days in advance.  All requests will be submitted to the Center Director in writing.  A guarantee of seventeen children must be provided, and a responsible adult designated to settle all charges.  (This service might be used when you planning a function or party where several members are involved.)

Typhoon: For the safety of all children; your child must be picked up within one hour of Typhoon Condition "1 C" being declared. (Centers will close one hour after Condition "1 C" is declared.) The Provost Marshal will be notified and requested to take custody of children left in the Centers at that time. The Centers will reopen two hours after condition "Storm Watch" goes into effect before 1300 hours. If "Storm Watch" is declared after 1300 hours, the Centers will open the following day.  (TYPHOON CONDITION BREAKDOWN)
