Our second "Big" reunion went well. A total of 45 former members and spouses attended. As in 1998 at Dayton, we had a real good cross section of the wing represented.
The 2001 355th TFW reunion was held at the Hilton Tucson East on East Broadway in Tucson AZ. The main event for our reunion was a tour of Davis-Monthan AFB including AMARC (don't call us the "Bone Yard"). The 355th Wing members rolled out the "Red Carpet" treatment for us despite the events of September 11th. The second event was a tour of the Pima Air & Space Museum which included the open cockpits of their F-105D & F-105F Thuds. The weather was a little on the hot side but everyone enjoyed themselves.
