| This is the first and so far only Penny Jar established on the World Wide Web. While it is not yet the world's biggest, with your help, we will make it so.
The Monger has established this portion of ATP with two goals in mind. The short term goal is to set a record for the greatest number of pennies collected in one spot, short of the Federal Reserve. At that point The Monger will contact something like the Guinness Book of Records and register all the pennies in the Jar.
When the number of pennies has been registered, the record established and duly recorded, the Long Term goal will begin. The Monger will find some group or organization to donate every penny in the jar to.
What do you gain from adding to the jar? Your name listed on the record for the web's biggest penny collection and in the long run, maybe something more. What does The Monger gain? The journey is the thing.
