Our deepest sympathy goes out to Darlene Golter and her family on the recent death of her mother, Louise Lohr, of Blair, Nebraska.
On Sunday, September 30 at 6 p.m. everyone is invited to gather in the sanctuary for a "singspiration," singing favorite hymns from the hymnal. The Music Committee has chosen some favorites and standards that continue to comfort and guide us through the years of our lives. Following the singspiration there will be cookies and punch served in the parlor. Childcare will be provided. We hope you can make it a point to come together as a church family and enjoy an evening of inspirational music.
Blue Mt. Fellowship of Christian Cowboys will sponsor a Cowboy church service on the eve of Round-Up, Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the south grandstand of the rodeo grounds. Al Parsons of Diamond J Cowboy Ministry will be speaking. Music will be by Dick & Jill Schoenberg, Harlene Rogers and Marty Campbell. EVERYONE is invited to attend this special service with a real western flair!

Please note that there will be NO mid-week programs for children, youth and adults on Wednesday, Sept. 12 due to the Round-Up. Our regular schedule at 7 p.m. will resume on Sept. 19. We hope you can be with us for Wed. evenings.
All high school students are invited to attend Students Accepting the Lord’s Teachings each Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Up with Donuts, across from the Courthouse. Purpose: To study the Bible and it's application to the daily lives of high schoolers, to support each other in their walks with Christ, and to promote unity among youth groups. Bring your Bible, friends and money for donuts! They are presently studying the book of Acts.
The Music Committee is planning a music workshop for Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary. Doug Boldt from Richland COG in the Portland area will be leading the workshop. If you have ever wanted to be a member of the worship team (or are currently on a team), this is for you! If you have any questions, contact Elaine Allen, 276-7730 or Debbie Oliver, 278-0730.
Our Wednesday evening children’s program needs a leader. Our children are valuable, they are precious and deserve the best! Right now we do NOT have a coordinator for their mid-week classes. We are looking for someone who can, with assistance, lead this fun program. It includes choosing material, recruiting teachers/helpers and serving on the Board of Christian Education. If you have any questions, contact Hilda Blair, 276-1939 or Pastor Rick, 276-1894.
For EVERYONE who helped with our Round-Up Sunday Worship Celebration, Gospel Sons concert, the lunch, & decorating-THANK YOU!
