This very popular luncheon and bazaar will be Friday & Saturday, November 2 & 3. Our "country store" bazaar (no individual vendor tables) has been enlarged into a second room to accommodate many more decorations and gift items from local crafters and artisans. Shoppers will find a great selection of fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas gift giving. Many one of a kind gifts make this bazaar very popular in our community. The bazaar is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The yummy luncheon (all-you-can-eat from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days) will feature homemade soups, breads, rolls, desserts and a beverage for only $4.50 for 13 years through adult; $2.50 for 6 years to 12 years; $1 for 5 years and under. A bake sale will be held both days in the entryway as well as a chair caning demonstration by Becky Dunlap. We encourage everyone to come shop and eat lunch. More help is needed, though. We look to members of the congregation to help with publicity by word-of-mouth and posting a flyer at workplaces. Contact the church office (276-1894) for flyers. We also need helpers with serving the luncheon as well as soup makers, bread, dessert & bake sale bakers and a cash-out clerk for the bazaar. Any bake sale items can be dropped off at the church Thursday or Friday. Proceeds from this fund raiser will go to help with registration fees and expenses incurred by volunteer adult counselors who are necessary for our middle and high school youth to be able to attend youth activities, retreats, camps, etc. Joseph and our youth as well as bazaar chair Teri Brickey would like to thank everyone in advance for their help and preparations in ensuring this event is as successful as possible.
