MEN’S  BREAKFAST

MOTHER’S DAY FLOWERS

We are again delivering flowers for Calico Country design for Mother’s Day.  In return for your time spent delivering, our church receives credit for our benevolent floral needs throughout the year.  We will be delivering Friday, May 10, 9 am-3 pm  and Saturday, May 11  9 am-3 pm.  If you and a friend (or we can match you up with someone) would like to help for a two-hour time slot, contact the church office.  Friday is especially challenging to find workers for, so if you have any time that day be sure to let us know.  Delivery vehicles are also needed—vans, trucks with canopies, station wagons, SUV’s, etc.  This is an easy way to serve your church and have a great time seeing the smiles of those who receive these beautiful gifts.

CARPETING TO BEGIN

A joint decision between the Maintenance Committee and Board of Trustees has been made to replace existing carpet in the upper educational wing.  This includes offices, all classrooms, hallways, entryway and stairways.  The cost for carpet replacement includes a total of 440 yards at $12 per yard plus installation.  To make this possible we will need your help in purchasing yards of carpet at $23.50 per yard.  Mark your donations on your check or envelope “To Carpet.”  Pray how God would have you respond.  At this time funds have already been given and designated to get this project started

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will  renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:30-31
