PRAYER CONCERNS

church office with your e-mail address. Darlene Marquardt's daughter-Pray for her regarding her school courses at University & the upcoming term. Kristin Miller-Pray for her as she recovers from an auto accident that injured her spine. She is now at home and recuperating in a full body brace. Elaine Hart-As she continues to recover from surgery to remove a fibroid tumor. She is back to work for only a few hours a day. Pray for additional strength during this recovery. Judy Whalen-Pray for the Byrum family as mother Nicole prepares to take baby Gabe back to Nebraska for approximately 6 weeks in early April to have him evaluated for treatment concerning his intestinal problems. Debbie Berry-Pray for her friend who is looking for answers and peace of mind in several different areas of his life.

A Bible prayer coffee will be held at Peggy Russell’s
home, sponsored by Pendleton After 5 on Friday, April 5. She

BUSINESS REALLY CLEANS UP!
Rub N’ Scrub, a brand new self-service
pet wash, is now open at 1803 SW Emigrant, next to Jump Start Espresso.
Owner Phyllis Mayberry invites everyone to stop by for a tour. She
has EVERYTHING you need to bathe your dogs and cats, leaving her
with the mess! No more cat claw marks, no more drains clogged with
dog hair, no more “dog-shake” showers for your bathroom. Call at
276-4644. Her business motto is “Where We Supply Everything But
the Pets.” And Phyllis means it. Supplies include a plastic
apron for washers, handy bathing tubs with sprayer, cat bathing “caddy,”
shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaning supplies, towels, brushes, scissors,
combs, claw clippers and blow drying. Your pets will love it!
Costs range according to height for dogs: up to 13” is $10; 14-20” is $15;
22-27” is $20 and over 27” is $25. All cats are $10.

PENDLETON AFTER 5
“Get Fit” is this month’s theme for this very
special Pendleton After 5 on April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vert Clubroom,
S.W. 4th between Dorion & Emigrant. Ladies, you are invited to
bring your spouse, your son or a friend. The special feature is a presentation
by the Roundup Racquet Club. Guest speaker is Fred Burnett from Bothel,
WA, who is a retired IBM systems analyst, Eagle Scout, weather buff and wood
carver. The Cookie Tree will provide a salad dinner.
Cost for the entire evening will be $7.50. Call Vicki at 276-3947 (chambers@oregon
trail.net) or Kathy at 278-9209, by Friday, April 5 for reservations.
All ladies, and their manly guests, are invited to enjoy an evening of fellowship
together. Gals--this is a perfect time to be able to show the guys
what we are up to each second Monday evening of the month

WOMEN’S RETREAT
The annual trek to Cannon Beach will be April
12-14 for the ladies retreat entitled “Keep Growing,” sponsored by Mountain
Park Community Church in Lake Oswego. All denominations are invited
and traditionally several women from our church have attended. Guest
speaker is Poppy Smith, author of several books and conference & retreat
speaker around the world. Registration forms are on the table in the entryway.
Contact DiAnna Miller for more info! Scholarship funds are available.
Reservations need to be made as soon as possible, especially for those with
roommates.
