FELLOWSHIP OF
CHRISTIAN ATHLETES

Plans are being made to begin a chapter of the national organization of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.   David Williams, Pastor Rick and Pastor Joseph are meeting to build a foundation for this organization in our community.  If you would like to know more about the mission of FCA, its history and how it can apply to the young athletes of Pendleton, contact Pastor Rick.  An organizational meeting will be called in the near future and they are hoping for support from adults who enjoy athletics and working with our young men and women.   This outreach can make a very real difference in the lives of our youth.

THANK YOU

Elaine Hart would like to thank everyone who provided the delicious meals during her recovery time from a recent surgery.  It was very much appreciated!

EASTER MISSIONS OFFERING

Donations to our Easter Missions Offering campaign “Beyond Belief” can still be made throughout April.  If you were unable to give on Easter Sunday, just designate on your check or envelope “Easter Missions” and place in the offering plate.

THANK YOU

A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped get our church building and grounds in shape at the recent workday in time for Easter.  It would not be so neat, tidy and beautiful without our helpers!  We appreciate the job our custodian Lynn Allen does, week after week, in keeping the building clean.  Each week throughout the entire year everything from restocking the pew supplies, to folding bulletins, decorating the sanctuary, preparing the coffee, and mowing the lawn is done by a group of loyal volunteers who we appreciate so much!

SCOUT TROOP 700

Our charter Boy Scout Troop 700 is looking for boys from 10 ½ to 18 years of age to join them any Thursday at 7 p.m. in the church basement.  All interested parents or adults willing to spend some time with the scouting program should contact Rick Thomas, 276-2453.

Don’t ask the Lord to guide your footsteps unless you are willing to move your feet.
