Our volunteers of the month for April are Robert and Marty Ward. After moving from the Portland area in 1991 and joining our church family, they didn�t miss a step in serving. Over the years they have served on many committees and boards including Board of Trustees, Music Committee, Ushers Committee, Memorial Committee, Fellowship Committee, Church Council and serving on the worship team. When there is a big job that needs to be done, they are usually on hand to make it happen whether it is pruning the shrubs, setting up tents on Round-Up Sunday, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms or making preparations to feed 400 people. Rarely is there a �fellowship� activity that they aren�t involved in. They have both contributed their musical talents during our services and in accompanying others on piano or guitar. Robert helps with our sound system each Sunday and makes recordings of the service for distribution to those who cannot be with us. Marty has lent her special talents as a crafter in donating items to sell at our bi-annual craft bazaars and sewing beautiful communion table runners. They have a son, Jerod, who lives and works in Corvallis, and a daughter, Meredith, who is a soon-to-be graduate of Oregon State University.
