| SUMMER WORSHIP TIMES |

Summer worship times continue. Throughout
August, Sunday School for adults and the kids breakfast club will
continue to commence at 9:00 a.m. and morning worship will begin at 10:00
a.m. This will continue until Sunday, August 31st. |

Sunday September 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the
Pendleton High School football field/track area will be the time and location
for the Round-up Sunday services this year. This service is supported
by several area churches and of course is open to the public. A free
hamburger lunch will be served following the service. Bring your lawn
chairs and if it's hot, don't forget an umbrella, hat, water, fan, sunscreen,
etc. Golf carts will again transport those needing access help to
the field area. The special speaker that Sunday is Kay Cole. |

| IT'S WEDNESDAY |

| Wondering what you are going to fix for dinner
before it's time for church? Worry no more! Bring the family
down and we'll share a meal together at 6:00 p.m. Cost is only $1.00
per person. What a great way to solve the Wednesday night dinner
dilemma! We have been having over 50 people in attendance. |

| GROWING PAINS |
||
| Our Wednesday evening children's program is growing
by leaps and bounds! At this time the group includes ages 3 through
5th grade, totaling about 20 children. We need more helpers than we
have right now: 1 for preschoolers and 1 for K-2nd grade and one for
3rd-5th grade. This is a great situation to have, but we do need your help! The commitment
would only be for one month at a time, every third month. Contact
Terri Brickey ASAP. We must not let our children down by thinking
someone else will do this. |

| Dave & Tina Williams had a baby boy July 31st at about 10 a.m More specifics when we know them.. both baby and Mom seem to be doing fine! | ||
| LADIES BOOK CLUB! | ||
| Ladies Book Club meeting is scheduled for August 26th at 6:30 pm. The topic of discussion will be the book, "Redeeming Love", by Francine Rivers. | ||
| A baby dedication is scheduled for August 31st. Parker Campbell is scheduled to be dedicated on that Sunday. This is the son of Mandy and Marty Campbell. If you would like your baby or child dedicated please contact the church office before that date to make arrangements. |
