They e-mailed Tori telling her she was psycho, ugly, and everyone hated her arrogance. How arrogant of them to assume they knew what every single person thought - afterall, they were too "good" to talk to 90% of the school. Tori has disliked by the "A-group" yet had friends who were Homecoming Princesses and Queens, so she ignored these self-important twits. Her friends did her real favors like buy her tampons before swim meets, stick up for her when others picked on her, lent her money and shoes if she forgot hers, drove her to and from school if she needed a ride without asking for gas money, called her daily to convince her to quit the track team freshman year to focus on swimming because she had potential, and made up cheers (and taught her proper technique) for cheerleading tryouts. She took one's advice and didn't join a sorority because she learned it was full of stuck-up, shallow girls. She could care less about people who went around making fun of others. Especially when they were ugly, stupid, and unathletic compared with her and her friends. They never went to the state-level of competition. These girls were nice to her and they caught up after high school and even college. They all always remained level-headed.
And let's not over-look Tori's non-popular friends, who were among the best friends anyone ever had. They'd be honest with her when she needed it, but they always had her back. They were there for her during the worst times of her life, as she was for theirs. I can't even begin to tell you all they did for her. :)
Satan's pals kept e-mailing Emmy back, insulting her and Tori, for awhile and kept asking who she really was from Self-Centered Grove. They accused her of being ashamed of her real identity. They were so far off once again, it wasn't even funny. I guess it blew their mind Tori had more friends in other places than Greenwood, Indiana. For them, the opposite was true. Emmy, who rivaled Eminem in intelligence and ability to insult, put the smack down on their asses. And then the best revenge of all came.
Tori finally got pregnant with her second child. She'd been trying for a few months and was depressed it didn't take one shot like with Mariah (pun intended). She quit her "white trash" job and stayed home full-time after a few months because she was too tired to stand on her feet for hours at a time and do the physical labor. She was happy being a full-time housewife, once again. That beat out the fact she looked better than any of the "A-listers" at her high school reunion and showed up in a Mercedes-Benz with her supercute, non-balding husband.
Tori's dad said the best revenge on people is to go on with your life and live it successfully. When Satan and Pals came back to diss her for having everything she ever wanted in life, she knew she'd made it big. She was already happy, but getting all that jealous attention was the icing on the cake. She knew it was because they didn't have kids, let alone ones half as beautiful or supersweet as little Mariah.
Satan should've left Tori alone, but he didn't. He just changed his approach. He wanted her now more than ever.
