Elias married Catherine Lawson, around 1891-1925 daughter of Umberson & Viola Griffith. Born around June, 17th, 1862, died around October 18th, 1945. Grandmother Catherine passed away the year I was born.

Bob, (as we know him) was named by two parents, having two names. ha Grandpa Morgan Honaker insisted that his name should be after his uncle, Madison O'coy. Grandma Ruby said, "Oh no, his name will be Robert Madison. (Well, it seems his birth name was offically Madison O'coy. The same arguement developed with my mother's name, Bob's sister. Woe is me! Grandma Ruby quarreled with her mother about the daughter's name. Grandma wanted Mary Ruth, her mother insisted it should be Ruby Agnes, after Grandma Ruby's name sake. Again, the mother of grandma won out, our mother's name is (was) legally Ruby Agnes. Robet/Madison lived with Shirley for years after the death of his first wife Caroline, having two sons, Richard & Tommy. Here is a photo of Shirley with Richard. Richard was killed in a car accident years ago in his teens. Very sad! - Shirley & Richard
