Peggy's has been part of Philadelphia's weekday lunch decisions for over 40 years.  Peggy's started serving a few people who worked up town out of her home.  Since then the business has grown and eventually became the primary income for Don and Peggy Webb.

Peggy's style of cooking consist of the highest quality of food.  The chicken and pork chops are fried in cast iron dutch ovens and you will not find any instant potatoes.

Peggy wanted to operate this business because it gave her the opportunity to generate income while staying home and raising her three sons, Randy, Dean (with Peggy's over 20 years) and Stan.

In April of 2002, Don and Peggy sold the business to Stan and Debbie Webb.  All of Peggy's employees still prepare and serve the same "home style" food that has been serving the community and others for over 40 years.

Don and Peggy can still be seen during the lunch hours.  Please take the time to visit with them while you enjoy your meal.
