Lady Death was born with the name Hope. She was a kind hearted girl in midevil europe, who had lost her mother to her evil father's hand. Her father,Matthias was a 666th desendent of fallen angels. Countering that her mother was so pure her blood could be linked to heaven. Hope's father had the evil idea of taking over hell. He would take the men of his village out to war and sacrafice their souls to the princes of darkness. One night Hope was awakened by her father and found him calling the demons. She remembered the words he had spoken, though she thought it was a dream. After her father's last crusade(in which her lover was the first to die) Matthias knowingly or unknowingly brought home the Black Plage. After treating a friend by lansing the wounds and not bleeding her Hope was thought a witch. The people of the village had had enough of Matthias(and with this last act his daughter). They stormed the castle and killed Matthias allowing him to desend to Hell. They burned Hope at the stake, but before she died she denied her humanity by uttering the words her father had used to summon demons and they brought her to Hell. She refused to serve her father and so he cast her out into a pit to die, where she befriended some wolves of somesort. This is where Lucifer tried to get her to join him telling her that desire equaled power in Hell. She spit in his face. Lucifer and Matthias met in battle and Matthias seemed to have defeated Lucifer but it was only Lucifer playing ticks. When Hope came to fight joined by creamator and defeated him using the advice he had given her(desire equals power) he cursed her never to walk the earth while there was life. She became LADY DEATH. Which in a way was what Lucifer had wanted. His task was to take a child of purity and turn her into a child of darkness. And so this is the begining of Lady Death.
