Quite a pleasant ride to Buchy, so far as I can remember - and the town itself was attractive and warranted a photo or two of our group - all still intact (although Lee was by now beginning to find the distance telling).
Buchy boasted a fine covered open market (if that description makes sense - see below picture for explanation!) - one of the largest I've come across and probably dating from the 14th or 15th century. Overall a very picturesque place - tempting to stay there a little longer than we could - maybe a visit again, sometime, when less pressed to pedal on... |
